Shagun Singh is the Best Animal Activist in Ayodhya, entrepreneur, and animal rights activist who has spent more than five years working for the welfare, rescue, and rehabilitation of animals. Her connection with animals began during childhood and gradually developed into a lifelong commitment to helping stray, injured, and abandoned animals.

Her educational background reflects her diverse interests. She completed her graduation and post-graduation in English from RMLAU, Ayodhya, and later earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga, Naturopathy, and Dietetics from Central Sanskrit University, Delhi, in 2025. She also continues to draw on her knowledge of holistic wellness wherever it can support her rescue and care efforts.

Shagun credits much of her strength and values to her parents. Her mother, Mrs. Rinku Singh, a homemaker, taught her the importance of kindness, gentleness, and compassion towards every living being. Her father, Mr. Santosh Kumar Singh, a police officer in the Uttar Pradesh cadre, encouraged her to be courageous, pursue the work she believes in, and stand against injustice.

In 2021, Shagun chose to dedicate herself fully to animal welfare. She is the founder of the Sahas Aiding Hearts Foundation, through which she works on animal rescue in Ayodhya, feeding initiatives, emergency assistance, rehabilitation, and support for animals requiring treatment. She also works with veterinarians, paravets, and fellow rescuers to strengthen access to animal medical care in Ayodhya.

As a female animal activist in Ayodhya, Shagun has faced the challenges that come with late-night rescues, emergency situations, safety concerns, and demanding fieldwork. Her determination has helped her continue responding to animals in distress while encouraging people to become more compassionate and responsible towards them.

Her vision extends beyond individual rescues. Through her work in Animal Welfare and Rescue and Stray Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation, she aims to develop reliable systems for animal care and recovery. She also aspires to contribute towards an animal rescue and recovery center that can provide vulnerable animals with timely treatment, shelter, and rehabilitation.

Alongside her welfare work, Shagun is the founder of Sahas Ki Dukaan, a pet care brand. The brand is created with a commitment to quality pet products and animal welfare. A part of its work supports meals, medical care, and rescue efforts for street animals through the Sahas Aiding Hearts Foundation.
